The aim of the Transition Class program is to build on the skills learnt in the Learn to Sail for Children program, and prepare participants for fleet racing.
First half of the course will review and continue LTS skills from previous course followed by the short course racing for the second half of the course in 2024.

Course Overview

This course focuses on sailing in stronger winds and introducing extra equipment like spinnaker and trapeze to leverage the full boat potential on the water.

Course Prerequisites

Water confident, and you should have the skills, knowledge and experience gained from the Start Sailing 2 course.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to continue developing their sailing skills in dinghies. 

Course Outcome

You will gain your Better Sailing completion certificate.
