Dobroyd Aquatic Club

Dobroyd Aquatic Club (or “DAC”) is an inclusive sailing club located on Rodd Point, in Sydney’s inner west. Come down on a Saturday during the season and we'll help you get on the water.

The season runs from September to April in a range of classes, most boats are welcome (with some exceptions due to safety and practical concerns). We race sailboards, radio-controlled boats, and a range of traditional sailing dinghies, something for everyone.

We have Learn to Sail programs for kids and adults, and Learn to Windsurf – see our training page for details.

Sailability sails at DAC regularly. See the calendar for dates and sailabilitynsw.com for more info. People with a disability also sail in regular Saturday competition as part of our drive towards more inclusive sailing.

And if you need a venue for your next party, our clubhouse has a great view and is available for hire.

Our club also hosts various community exercise classes, including karate, yoga and pilates. See the timetable for session times and contact details.

DAC has its own solar-powered weather station. Check it out: https://holfuy.com/en/weather/1142
